Everyother line is the boy thinking or speaking. The other lines are the girl thinking or speaking. Sort of inspired by sic transit gloria by brand new
Obviously I don't have guys experience on sex, just girls.
This isn't ment to catigorize all boys. I know that not all guys are jerks like this. I wrote this from a broken hearted point of view, if that makes the poem make anymore sense. Sorry if anyone was offened.

And for the people who said it doesn't hurt that much, its different for everyone. Our bodies aren't all created equal.

What I don't seem to understand is why the boy is made out to be the jerk in all this. Now I'm only assuming from this poem that these two (obviously) are teenagers. This is their first time, which you can conclude given their inner monologue. I can understand from a teenage point of view for girls that they have these fantasies and feelings of love and affection when it comes to their first time, but boys in general are not gonna have that. By that, I mean that their minds are not necessarily rotating around the concept of "love making". This boy is excited, hormonal, but not experienced. Realty is, he's not going to know much about foreplay. Not once did the girl say that something hurt, even when he asked not once, not twice, but four times! Before someone makes a comment, as a woman, I know I was nervous when I was having my first time and I didn't know how to express that something hurt. I was nervous and not sure what everything was supposed to feel like. But that doesn't mean it was the guy's fault either, he had no idea! I haven't read anything else by you or know how old you were when you wrote this, but the one thing that I did like about your poem are the non-realistic expectations of sex and the feelings that go behind it, but I assume that was not intentional. And for any other young people who may read this comment I just want to say: Don't be scared to talk to your partner and express what your feeling before, during, or after sex. If something hurts, say it. Then you can both work through it together. The boy in the poem kept asking if she was ready, if she was sure. Boys, do the same thing.

Not all guys care when they see pain in their girls eyes. The feel of him finally being able to enter her body is such a rush that they cant really see the pain that she is feeling. I can speak from experience, not all guys care. Sorry if i was a little harsh with my diction, but i was hurt and tend to judge.

Sorry to say that, but it is plain stupid and nothing else not to say when it hurts. It definitely doesn't have to hurt if ou juust say "stop" and continue when you're more in the mood. I know what I'm talking of, we tried like for half a year, but it's getting better if you just take it easy. And I wouldn't say my body is created very generously.

Kinda feel sorry for whoever has an experience like this. A first time should be with someone you love. But I'm coming from a different point of view. My first time was wonderful and with someone I love. But, other than that, I really like it. Probably a good way to describe the first time for a lot of people.
